STUDENTS OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY DEVELOP AI STARTUPS WITHIN THE AI-SANA ACCELERATION PROGRAM
AI-Sana is a unique acceleration program aimed at the comprehensive development of students’ abilities in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). Under the guidance of professors from the Department of Computer Modeling and Information Technologies of the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, students are developing innovative projects to participate in the AI startup competition “AI Sana Leader.”
The following projects are being implemented within the program:
The first project is a Telegram bot for anonymous reports of bullying cases. The author of the project is Aleksei Khorev, a first-year student of the educational program 6B06101 – “Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.”
The bot, operating through the Telegram API, allows users to anonymously report bullying incidents and automatically forwards the information to moderators for further processing.
The second project is an application for analyzing the quality of students’ program code. The authors are Syrym Alimbekov and Nurasyl Keneshanov, second-year students of the “Informatics (IP)” program.
The project integrates methods of learning analytics, machine learning, and software engineering. The goal is to create an intelligent AI application that analyzes written code and provides recommendations for improvement.
The third project is “A Future Without Cyberbullying.” The authors are Nurym Kaiyrlykizi (second year, 6B01511 – “Mathematics–Informatics”) and Gyulim Kaiyrlykizi (third year, 6B01501 – “Informatics”).
The project aims to create a chatbot or web service based on a machine learning model that analyzes text and visual content. The system automatically detects aggressive or offensive messages, responds to them, and filters such content.
The fourth project involves applied AI solutions in medicine. The author is Dauletbek Agyzham, a first-year doctoral student of the program 8D01501 – “Informatics.”
The goal of the project is to develop an AI assistant that analyzes symptoms specified by the user and offers recommendations on a probable diagnosis or advises consulting the appropriate specialist.
These projects demonstrate the innovative thinking of students, their research capabilities, and their ability to apply artificial intelligence technologies in practice. By supporting the initiatives of young AI specialists, Amanzholov University makes a significant contribution to the country’s digital transformation.
