THE INCLUSIVE AND CONTINUOUS EDUCATION CENTER “DANA BALA” OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY RECEIVED IMPORTANT GUESTS

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, on the initiative of Rector Mukhtar Tolegen, the “Dana Bala” Center for Continuous and Inclusive Education was opened, which received important guests. The professionalism of the visitors and their sincere interest in the field of inclusion deserve high praise.

Among the visitors were Ayauzhan Ashimova, Director of the East Kazakhstan Region Institute for Analysis and Forecasting and Chairperson of the Public Council of the East Kazakhstan Region; and Olga Grigoryevna Kuzavlyova, member of the National Kurultai and Head of the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities under the Public Council of the East Kazakhstan Region.

The guests were presented with the center’s capabilities and achievements: the laboratories and material-technical base of “Dana Bala”; research on working with parents and raising public awareness about autism; scientists’ developments within the commercialization project “Competence Center for Psychological and Pedagogical Training and Methodological-Technological Support for Children with Special Needs”; and the new website and AI-based chat-bot designed to answer questions about inclusive education and assist teachers and parents in creating programs for working with children with special needs.

The meeting took place in a constructive and inspiring atmosphere. At the end of the visit, an agreement was reached on further cooperation.
