At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, an orientation conference on teaching practice was held for participants of teacher training programs.
The event was conducted as part of the academic plan for educational programs in the field of “Education” at the Regional Center for Retraining and Professional Development (RCRPD) and became an important stage in the professional preparation of future teachers, marking the beginning of the practical component of their training.
The conference was attended by practice supervisors — Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Assistant Professor Natalia Radchenko, PhD, Assistant Professor Gulden Yespolova, lecturer of specialized disciplines and senior lecturer Kymbat Kanapiyanova, Director of RCRPD Bakytgul Isebaeva, as well as participants of the teacher retraining courses who are scheduled to undergo practical training in educational institutions.
The participants were provided with detailed information on the goals, objectives, and structure of the teaching practice, expected outcomes, reporting forms, and specifics of interaction with practice bases. The supervisors emphasized the importance of this stage as an opportunity to familiarize themselves with real professional conditions, apply theoretical knowledge in an educational environment, and develop professional and communicative competencies.
The discussion was accompanied by methodological recommendations and explanations of organizational matters. Special attention was given to the role of teaching practice in forming the professional identity of future teachers, as well as the need to demonstrate initiative, responsibility, and a creative approach when completing practical assignments.
The conference concluded with parting words from the instructors and wishes for a productive, engaging, and successful teaching practice experience.
