THE RECTOR OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY HELD A MEETING WITH PROFESSORS FROM TURKEY AND ITALY: AGREEMENTS REACHED ON EXPANDING INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

The Rector of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, Mukhtar Tolegen, held a meeting with international scholars from Turkey and Italy to discuss prospects for further academic and research collaboration.

The university was visited by Dr. Mehmet Öztürk (Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Turkey), Anna Siri (Pegaso University, Italy), and Professor Gianluca Olcese (University of Wrocław, Italy). During the discussion, both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening academic ties and implementing joint scientific projects.

The visiting professors also delivered open lectures for the students, master’s, and doctoral candidates of Amanzholov University, sharing the results of their research and international experience.

Dr. Mehmet Öztürk, one of the leading experts in analytical chemistry and the biological activity of natural compounds, is listed among the top 2% of scientists in the world according to Stanford University rankings.
Anna Siri, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Sociology at Pegaso University, is known for her research on social vulnerability, education, and the ethics of big data usage.
Professor Gianluca Olcese specializes in the history of religions and Europe’s cultural heritage and actively participates in international educational initiatives.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Rector Mukhtar Tolegen expressed his gratitude to the guests for their valuable contribution to the development of international cooperation. The professors, in turn, thanked the university for the warm welcome and commitment to opening new horizons for students and young researchers.

Such visits strengthen the scientific potential of Amanzholov University and contribute to its integration into the global academic community, opening new opportunities for joint projects and knowledge exchange.
