THE RECTOR OF THE UNIVERSITY MET WITH THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE ACADEMIC MOBILITY PROGRAM

In S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University 29 students who were selected to participate in the academic mobility program for the academic year 2025-2026, have the opportunity to study in foreign higher education institutions. The program is implemented with the support of the grant of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, internal grant of the university, as well as within the framework of the program “Orkhun”.

Rector of East Kazakhstan University Mukhtar Tolegen held a special meeting with students going to study abroad, wished them good luck and stressed that all organizational issues related to the stay abroad – accommodation, accommodation, transport – are fully worked out and are under control.

– You represent Kazakhstan abroad. Therefore it is very important to demonstrate our culture, education and upbringing with dignity. The experience gained in foreign universities should be used for the benefit of society after returning to the homeland – it is a civic duty of every student, – said the rector of the university.

Irina Vladimirovna, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and International Cooperation, also held an open dialog with the students, telling them in detail about how to adapt to life abroad, successfully integrate into the academic environment, build interaction with partner universities, comply with visa and migration requirements, and adhere to ethical and cultural norms for international students.

The selected students will study under the academic mobility program at the following universities:

  • Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania)
  • Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland)
  • University of Szeged (Hungary)
  • University of Genoa (Italy)
  • Shandong Foreign Trade College (China)
  • Baku Slavic University (Azerbaijan) – within the framework of the “Orkhun” program
  • Aegean University (Turkey) – within the framework of the Orhun Program
