THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE “BEST YOUNG SCIENTIST OF THE YEAR – 2026” COMPETITION WAS HELD

At East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov, as part of the launch of “Science Month,” another meeting of the “Best Young Scientist of the Year – 2026” competition was held.

The university continues its traditional competition among researchers in natural and technical fields. This year, young scientists competing for the title of best participated in the contest.

Participants presented reports and presentations to the jury, highlighting the relevance, novelty, prospects, and results of their scientific research.

During the project defense, young scientists of the university showcased current studies covering a wide range of scientific and technical directions. Among them were:

  • Alexey Gladyshev — “Cultivation of the fungus Inonotus obliquus (Pers.) Pilát in vitro and comparative analysis of mycelium growth on different nutrient media”;
  • Orazaly Orazalyuly Sabitov — “Development and standardization of a multicomponent ointment using drone larva homogenate”;
  • Anzhelika Dmitrievna Semyonova — “KorneSil-A”;
  • Gulim Tleuberkenova Tleubekkyzy — “Development of STEM skills and research activities: effective ways to use 3D scanning”;
  • Temirlan Alimbekuly — “Investigation of electrical discharge processes in electrolytic-plasma nitrocementation”;
  • Balym Alibekova — “Influence of electrolyte composition and microarc oxidation modes on the properties of aluminosilicate coatings of AMG6 alloy”;
  • Ayim Baurzhankyzy Nabioldina — “Technological solution to increase the service life of oil pipeline system components”;
  • Sanjar Bolatov — “Effect of laser surface hardening on the microstructure and wear resistance of 9HS steel.”

According to the jury members, the presented scientific research works are distinguished by high quality, wide thematic coverage, and significant potential for further scientific development.
