THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE COMPETITION FOR THE AWARD OF THE ZHUMASH KARIMOVICH UALIEV SCHOLARSHIP WAS HELD

At East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov, as part of the launch of “Science Month,” another meeting of the competition for the Zhumash Karimovich Ualiev Scholarship was held, which takes place twice a year.

The Zhumash Karimovich Ualiev Scholarship was established to encourage students’ achievements in scientific, creative, and, above all, academic activities, as well as to honor the memory of Zhumash Karimovich Ualiev.

On April 2, 2026, in the walls of Academic Building No. 5 of East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov, four candidates presented their scientific achievements to the jury:

• Vadim Sergeevich Vatulin — fourth-year student of the “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages” program;
• Shamil Maratovich Bayseitov — fourth-year student of the “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages” program;
• Ansağan Demeukhan Demeukhankyzy — third-year student of the “Chemistry-Biology” program;
• Zhiger Tolegenuly Sarsenbaev — fourth-year student of the “Public and Local Administration” program.

The winner of the competition will have the opportunity to receive a scholarship of 50,000 tenge per month for one academic semester.
