An open dialogue on the topic “The Role of Youth in Shaping an Anti-Corruption Culture” was held at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. The event was initiated by the Chairman of the Board – Rector of the University, Professor, and Director of the East Kazakhstan regional branch of the national anti-corruption movement “Zhanaru,” Mukhtar Tolegen.
Representatives of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in East Kazakhstan Region, as well as the Anti-Corruption Prevention Department, took part in the dialogue. The meeting became an important platform for discussing актуальные issues of combating corruption among young people and improving students’ legal awareness.
During the meeting, department representative Almira Nurtayeva emphasized the importance of raising legal culture among youth. She noted that every student can contribute personally to building an open and fair society by following the law and demonstrating an active civic position.
Participants received valuable information about modern approaches to anti-corruption efforts, discussed issues of civic responsibility, and highlighted the importance of adhering to legal norms. The open discussion format allowed students to ask questions and exchange views with experts.
The event became a significant dialogue platform that contributes to the development of public awareness among young people, strengthens the ideology of integrity, and fosters a устойчивый anti-corruption mindset within the university community.
