Professor Thseen Nazir from Ibn Haldun University (Turkey) arrived at Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University with an official visit within the framework of the “Orkhun” program. On this occasion, the university organized a series of significant events. The program includes a round table on “The Experience of Implementing Dual Education in Kazakhstan and Turkey”; lectures and seminars on the phenomenon of phubbing, the role of artificial intelligence in education and psychology; panel discussions and academic meetings for master’s students; practical sessions in the format of Workshops and Research Clinics; as well as cultural and educational excursions around Ust-Kamenogorsk and its surroundings.
The professor’s visit contributes to strengthening the university’s international cooperation, developing joint research, enriching educational experience, and expanding academic mobility.
Today, Professor Thseen Nazir delivered an insightful lecture on “Phubbing: The Phenomenon of Ignoring People.” The lecture was devoted to this important socio-psychological phenomenon that is often observed in modern society. Conducted in an interactive format, it allowed participants to ask questions and discuss real-life examples. The event enabled students and faculty to gain a deeper understanding of contemporary psychological issues.
