A SEMINAR ON ESSAY WRITING WAS HELD AT EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY

Within the framework of the methodical decade at the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University a seminar on “Methods of essay writing” was held, which was conducted by the teacher of the department, Associate Professor Tolkyn Abdrakhmanova.

The event was organized for students wishing to improve their essay writing skills. During the seminar, the participants familiarized themselves with the structure of the essay, learned to express their thoughts clearly and reasonably, as well as received useful recommendations on style and grammar.

Special attention was paid to the methodology of writing the introduction, main part and conclusion. Participants performed practical assignments and received feedback from experienced teachers.

The seminar was aimed at developing students’ academic writing skills and improving their logical thinking.
