AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY, A MEETING OF THE ACADEMIC COMMITTEE WAS HELD AT THE DEPARTMENT OF BIOLOGY.

At Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, a meeting of the Academic Committee was held at the Department of Biology of the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences.

During the meeting, strategic issues of the department’s educational and research activities were discussed. The entire composition of the Academic Committee took part in the meeting.

The academic meeting was chaired by the Head of the Department of Biology, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Almash Kitapbayeva.

The agenda included discussions on improving the educational process and organizing research activities, as well as approval of final exam questions, introduction of elective disciplines for the 2026–2027 academic year, assessment of teachers’ professional competencies, and the development of strategic partnerships with schools.

In addition, topics of master’s theses were reviewed, and scientific supervisors and reviewers were appointed.

Special attention was given to the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into the updated curriculum aimed at developing inclusive education. This initiative will allow for a more personalized learning process, taking into account individual student needs and improving the quality of education through modern digital solutions.

As a result of the meeting, decisions were made to improve the structure and content of educational programs, introduce new elective disciplines, develop specific plans for the integration of inclusive education and digital technologies, and strengthen the academic and research potential of the department.
