THE WEEK “INTEGRATION OF NATURAL SCIENCES AND DIGITAL INTELLIGENCE” CONCLUDED WITH A CEREMONY AT THE HIGHER COLLEGE
At the Higher College of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, from March 2 to 13, 2026, the traditional week organized by the Subject-Cycle Commission “Natural Science Disciplines” took place. This year, the event was held under the theme “Integration of Natural Sciences and Digital Intelligence” and aimed to demonstrate the interconnection between natural sciences and modern digital technologies.
Objective of the week:
To expand students’ scientific worldview, enhance their subject-specific competence, and integrate knowledge in artificial intelligence, graphics, biology, physics, and law with practical skills.
Main events of the week:
- The ceremonial opening of the week (March 2, 2026) took place in the college foyer. Teachers from the “Natural Science Disciplines” commission emphasized the importance of natural sciences in modern education and presented the program of upcoming events.
- A guest lecture was organized by N.Z. Kaliakperova and T.Z. Zhamigulova. Teachers from the Higher Medical College of Ust-Kamenogorsk, F.A. Dyrdanova and N.K. Kuzembayeva, conducted a scientific-practical lecture on modern methods for maintaining adolescent health.
- For students of the “Software” program, an essay contest titled “Law in My Life: Digital Intelligence and Law” was held, organized by E.N. Ramazanova and N.T. Chynschaeva. IT students presented essays on the development of legal culture in the digital era, and the contest drew high interest.
- Students also visited the university AI-Centre on a tour called “Leaders of the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” where they explored academic and applied AI projects and participated in an intellectual team game.
- An integration competition “Law vs Myths” was held, where legal myths were compared with mathematical logic, combining elements of law, graphics, and mathematics into a single format.
Open and demonstration lessons of high methodological level included:
- “Infrared and Ultraviolet Radiation. Photoeffect” (March 4, 2026) by physics teacher A.S. Sabetkanova, demonstrating the practical significance of light phenomena through experiments.
- “Extracorporeal Fertilization Method” (March 11, 2026) by biology teacher A.M. Bolat, highlighting the scientific principles and importance of IVF technology.
- “Vector Graphics: Creating Logos and Drawings” (March 11, 2026) by general disciplines teachers A.T. Kamalbaeva and Zh.A. Amangeldi, where students learned graphic design tools and developed their own logo sketches.
- “Patterns of Heredity and Variation” (March 12, 2026) by teacher A.E. Abzollina, which drew significant interest due to its practical focus.
- The interactive quest game “EcoQuest: Science Labyrinth” (March 12, 2026) engaged students in tasks related to ecology, biology, chemistry, and physics, developing scientific and critical thinking skills.
The week concluded with the ceremonial intellectual game “Bilim Battle” (March 13, 2026). This lively competition among young specialists served as the culmination of the week. Participants solved logical problems and answered questions on natural sciences. The game was conducted on a specially developed web platform, demonstrating the successful integration of digital technologies into the educational process.
During the intellectual game, teachers showed high levels of engagement, competing in various directions and demonstrating erudition and professionalism. The event not only tested knowledge but also strengthened team spirit and professional communication.
The week “Integration of Natural Sciences and Digital Intelligence” became a large-scale event that increased students’ interest in natural sciences, allowed them to gain new knowledge and practical skills, and contributed to the development of the educational process and the scientific and creative potential of students.
Special thanks to the Subject-Cycle Commission “Natural Science Disciplines,” all teachers, and active students for the high level of organization and participation!
