ORHUN – ACADEMIC MOBILITY FOR STUDENTS AND TEACHERS

The ORHUN Academic Mobility Program aims at exchanging students and teaching staff between members of the Union of Turkic Universities of the Turkic Council. It is implemented at EKU from the academic year 2022-2023. The main goal of the program is to deepen international ties and exchange of experience. Today, those who wish to study in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Hungary can do so. For the participants of the program training and accommodation is free of charge. Only in 2023, more than 10 students and teachers of EKU went to foreign partner universities within the framework of ORHUN. Thus, students Sainova Zhansaya and Zhumabay Saya are studying at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (Turkey).
In Bahçeşehir University (Turkey) – Kadenov Omirzak and Sadykov Arman, and in Baku State University (Azerbaijan) – Dauletkazy Madiyar and Tulegenova Dilnaz.
The list of teachers includes Alma Baiguzhinova, Leyla Akhmetova, Dinara Mamyrbekova and Mainur Ordabayeva. All of them are undergoing internship in Azerbaycan Devlet İktisat Üniversitesi.
It should be noted that for the alma mater membership in the Union is an important step in the development of higher education and cultural relations.
