Full biography

From 1993 to 2000 she studied at EKSU in the specialty "Preventive Medicine." In 2000 she entered graduate school in specialty 14.00.07 – "Hygiene," and from 2002 served as senior lecturer at the Department of Physiology. In December 2005 she defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences on the topic "Assessing the Impact of Adverse Factors of Lead Production on the Health of Workers in Sintering Processes."

From October 2006 to December 2007 she served as deputy dean for research at the Faculty of Ecology and Natural Sciences. From April 2008 she served as acting head of the Department of Anatomy and Physiology.

On September 1, 2010, she was appointed head of the Department of Basic Military Training and Life Safety at the Faculty of Culture and Sport of S. Amanzholov EKSU. In May 2014 she took over leadership of the Faculty of Culture and Sport.

In June 2015, following the reorganization of two faculties (the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy and the Faculty of Culture and Sport), she was appointed dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Culture (renamed the Higher School of Pedagogy in November 2021).

The Higher School of Pedagogy is professionalism, the high scholarly potential of its faculty, their sense of purpose and pedagogical optimism; the enthusiasm, restless energy, creativity, and drive of its students; the joint educational, scientific, socially oriented, and cultural-leisure activities of faculty and students; a school open to society through international projects and overseas internships, and cooperation with universities across the country and with various institutions, organizations, and enterprises of the East Kazakhstan region.

The history of the Higher School of Pedagogy begins with the founding of the Ust-Kamenogorsk Pedagogical Institute. In 1958 a faculty for training primary school teachers was established, with Korotkikh L.A. appointed as its dean. Later the duties of faculty dean were carried out by Sorokin I.A., Ualiyev Yu.K., Dementyev M.G., Mostovenko G.I., and Gurnova A.P. The Department of Physical Education was reorganized into the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of the Ust-Kamenogorsk Pedagogical Institute, whose first dean was Trunov Alexey Nikolayevich.

Key milestones in its history:

  • 1958 — the faculty for training primary school teachers was established, headed by dean Korotkikh L.A.; the role was later held by Sorokin I.A., Ualiyev Yu.K., Dementyev M.G., Mostovenko G.I., and Gurnova A.P.
  • 1967 — the Department of Physical Education was reorganized into the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of the Ust-Kamenogorsk Pedagogical Institute. The faculty's first dean was Trunov Alexey Nikolayevich.
  • 1991 — a Department of Psychology and Pedagogy was established at East Kazakhstan State University (founded on the basis of UKPI); it was headed from its founding until 1996 by Candidate of Psychological Sciences and Associate Professor Karamuratova R.B., under whose leadership the department first established professional ties with city institutions and organizations, signed agreements with practicum sites, and conducted its first applied research at city enterprises.
  • 1996–2015 — the deanship of the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy was successively held by: Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor Uruzbayeva G.T. (1996–2000), Candidate of Psychological Sciences Matskevich I.K. (2000–2001), Candidate of Historical Sciences Zhanbosinova A.S. (2001–2004), Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and Professor Apyshev O.D. (2004–2011), Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor Rovnyakova I.V. (January 2012 – October 2013), Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Akhmadiyeva Zh.K. (October 2013 – May 2014), and Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor Nagymzhanova K.M. (May 2014 – June 2015).

Departments
