AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY HOSTED A ROBOTICS TOURNAMENT
The Department of Computer Modeling and Information Technologies of VCU in cooperation with the school “RoboValli” held a robotics competition among children from 5 to 15 years old. The competition was held in four levels of complexity of robot assembly: Level 1 (5-6 years old), Level 2 (7-8 years old), Level 3 (9-10 years old), Level 4 (11-15 years old).
According to the organizers, the purpose of the event is to popularize sports and educational robotics in Kazakhstan, as well as to support talented schoolchildren in the field of design and programming.
The panel of judges included Senor-lecturer Akmaral Jaksalykova, lecturer Dauletbek Agizam, head of the robotics department of KGKP “Station of Young Technicians” Duman Shaker and teacher of Ust-Kamenogorsk Polytechnic College Zhanar Badenova.
At the end of the tournament young geniuses were awarded diplomas, medals for prizes and valuable gifts from the sponsor of the event – trampoline center Rabbit.
Thus, in the category “Build a robot” Level 1 prize places were distributed between Abayev Everest (first place), Kirillov Matvey and Millat Beksultan (second place), Kamarkhan Bekarys, Kapan Sanzhar and Kabanov Roman (third place).
Level 2 winners were Saituly Sanzhar, Ivanov Semyon – first place, Butorina Nicole, Borodulin Dmitry – second place, Danilenko Roman, Uazyrkhanov Arsen – third place.
Level 3: Toleubek Yeraly, Zhanibek Altair – first place, Maut Haknazar, Toleuzhanov Rasul – second place, Bazarbek Magzhan, Ernaruly Yerdaulet – third place.
Level 4: Daulethan Alikhan, Duisenov Salamat – first place, Tokenov Bauyrzhan, Kayyrgazin Zhiger – second place, Kikbaev Aybar, Esimhan Yerkanat – third place.
