TRAINING PRACTICE WAS ORGANISED IN COOPERATION WITH ASS KORGAN LTD.

EKU organised a training internship in cooperation with ACC Korgan LLP for EP “Life Safety and Environmental Protection” students. Training was conducted in the fire station.

-This is an integral part of our programme, which plays a key role in the formation of future specialists, – said Senor-lecturer of the Department of Ecology and Geography Saltanat Manapova.

According to her, trainees get an opportunity to immerse themselves in a professional environment and acquire practical skills.

During the training events, the young people went through modelled training scenarios. For example, evacuating victims, learning firefighting techniques or learning how to use specialised equipment.

One important aspect of the practice is the emphasis on interaction with the community. For example, specialists from the fire station demonstrated preventive activities with citizens on the topic of “Safety Fundamentals”.
