EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY HELD A SEMINAR ON PREPARATION FOR PEDAGOGICAL TESTING

In the S. Amanzholov. East Kazakhstan University held a training seminar for teachers on the topic “Methodological foundations of preparation for the assessment of teacher’s knowledge”.

The speaker of the seminar was a lecturer of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Sciences and Humanities, Candidate of Historical Sciences Roza Cheketayeva. The purpose of the event is competent preparation of graduates to pass the tests. At the seminar participants discussed the functionality of the sites Prob-teacher.test.center.kz, uapp.kz.

– When preparing future specialists for testing, it is important to effectively use their technological, subject and pedagogical knowledge. Besides, if we teach students with books, we should take into account that only 5% of what we read is memorized. If we use sound, video and audio, students’ memory increases up to 20%. The use of these methods by teachers facilitates the training of future specialists, – said Roza Cheketayeva.

At the end of the event, the teachers exchanged their opinions on the topic.
