THE REGIONAL SCHOOL OLYMPIAD IN INFORMATICS WAS HELD IN TASTY
Teachers of the Department of Computer Modeling and Information Technologies held a regional school Olympiad on informatics.
According to Salanat Adikanova, Dean of the Higher School of ITiEN, high school students of EKR schools took part in it. A total of 69 pupils of 11 classes were registered.
– Within the Olympiad they learned about the educational programs developed at the department, about the resources provided by the university, grants, academic mobility and innovative educational programs of the university, – she informed.
Also, a seminar on “Artificial Intelligence Technologies”, organized by the head of the department “Computer Modeling and Information Technologies”, was held for the heads of schoolchildren and startup projects and scientific works of students were demonstrated.
The Olympiad was held in two stages: testing through Google cloud services and defense of the project before the jury on the topic “The role of artificial intelligence in inclusive education”.EK
At the end of the first stage, 27 students passed on. After the second stage, the jury representatives noted the good preparation of students and made their verdict.
Thus, the Grand Prix was won by Meruert Sairanbekov (Meruert Sairanbekov), an 11th grade student of the S. Lastayev school of Katon-Karagay district. S. Lastaeva Katon-Karagay district Meruert Sairanbekovna (supervisor: Almira Kazlesovna Zhambulova).
The first place was taken by pupil of 11th grade of secondary school № 16 named after Zaki Akhmetov of Ust-Kamenogorsk city Khamzanov Rahman (head: Nazgul Zhanibekovna Seitkazinova).
The second place was taken by pupil of 11 class of school-lyceum № 43 named after K. Nurgaliyev of Ust-Kamenogorsk Kazhymkhanova Alina (head Nashinova Zhupar Kelgenovna) and pupil of 10 class of Nazarbayev intellectual school Kabdrashit Erasyl (head Sadykanova Oryngul Orymkanovna).
The third place was also shared by the 11th grade pupil of Nazarbayev Intellectual School Aliev Kirill (supervisor: Sadykanova Oryngul Orymkanovna), representative of school-lyceum of Altai city Kodyakov Daniel (supervisor: Ivanova Irina Evgenievna) and the 11th grade pupil of school named after Oralkhan Bokey of Glubokovsky district Zeynoldanova Balnur (supervisor: Agyzam Dauletbek).
All winners and nominees were awarded diplomas, certificates and prizes. The leaders were awarded with letters of thanks.
