COOPERATION WITH JSC “NUCLEAR TECHNOLOGY PARK”

Amanzholov University was visited by representatives of the “Nuclear Technology Park” JSC, which is engaged in the design of industrial plants and development of nuclear technologies. Irina Rovnyakova, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and International Cooperation, met with Mr. Zhanat Baigazinov, Chairman of the Board, and his team. The parties discussed the prospects of long-term cooperation in the field of science and education. In particular, the issues touched upon staff training, internship of young scientists, implementation of dual studying, development of innovative educational programs and joint research activities.

-Your university teaches exactly those specialties that are relevant in the Nuclear Technology Park. To attract Amanzholov University students and graduates, we will try to create all conditions for quality studying, conducting various scientific experiments and successful employment, – promised Zhanat Abylkanovich.

-Your proposal is especially interesting for our biologists, chemists, physicists, ecologists and material scientists. I believe that our partnership will become effective, versatile and will lead to large-scale results, – said Irina Vladimirovna.

For a more detailed acquaintance with the alma mater, the guests were organized a tour to the National Scientific Laboratory of Collective Use and SIC “Surface Engineering and Tribology”. The scientific staff of Amanzholov Univeristy presented the material and technical base, as well as told about the projects being implemented.

It should be noted that the “Nuclear Technology Park” JSC has a production shop, laboratories, mobile chemical-technological complex, etc. on its base. Specialists of the organization optimize SIT technology in Kazakhstan to strengthen biosafety, develop an innovative composition of polymer matrix by modifying them with carbon nanostructures, produce hydrogel, etc.
