EVENING FOR FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS “KOSH KELDIIN, STUDENT”!

S. Amanzholov EKU held a grand evening for first-year students ‘Kosh keldin, student!’, which was attended by about 600 students.
During the event, university activists delighted the audience with dance and vocal numbers. Dynamic movements, colourful costumes and ringing voices impressed the new students.

In addition, the freshmen got acquainted with various student organisations, which contribute to self-governance at the university.
It should be noted that the university has 16 associations. In particular, the Youth Affairs Committee, activists of the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences, the Higher School of Humanities, the Higher School of Pedagogy, the Higher School of Business and Law and the Higher College. There are students’ theatre “Shabyt”, theatre club “Avangard”, debate club “Dilmar”, volunteer organization “Meirim”, women’s club “Korkem”, clubs “Zhastar rukhy” and “Parasat”.

It should be noted that by decision of the participants of the youth club ‘Zhastar rukhy’ the organisation was renamed ‘Parasatty Zhastar’.

Also, due to the identical ideology of the clubs ‘Herodotus’ and ‘Alash’ communities united, thus achieving great success in the formation of interest in history among young people. In addition, the association of the holders of the ‘Altyn Belgi’ insignia was opened at the university.

The evening, dedicating the freshmen to the active social life of EKU, ended with a memorable photo session and new acquaintances.
