HISTORY PROFESSOR GAVE A LECTURE ON REPUBLIC DAY

In S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University on the eve of the National Holiday a lecture by a professor-historian on ‘Historical significance of the Republic Day celebration’ was held.

The lecturer was Professor, candidate of historical sciences Raushan Nurbekova. The main purpose of the lecture was to emphasise the historical significance of Republic Day and demonstrate the evolutionary path of the country’s development.

-Republic Day symbolises the revival of centuries-old statehood, starting with the Turkic Khaganates and the Kazakh Khanate. As part of this majestic symbol of independence, we held a lecture that was not only informative but also inspiring for the students,’ said the professor.

-Each of us listened to the lecture with bated breath. We are proud of the history of Kazakhstan and its achievements during the years of independence,’ said one of the students.

At the end of the lecture, the professor noted that understanding the historical significance of Republic Day contributes to the formation of patriotism and civic responsibility among young people.
