THE ORDER OF SETTLEMENT OF STUDENTS IN THE HOUSES OF STUDENTS

THE PROCEDURE FOR SETTLING students at the University and Higher College in Students’ Homes for the 2023-2024 academic year (from August 25 to September 05, 2022).

Applications for the settlement of 1st year students are accepted in online format on the official website of the university www.vku.edu.kz from August 25 to September 05.

Online registration of senior students:
2.1 Students of 2-4 courses retain their former places of residence in Students’ Homes.

2.2 Students of 2-4 courses from August 30 to September 05 need to register for applications on the portal of the VKU named after S.Amanzholov http://euniver.vkgu.kz/

Accommodation of students in a student dormitory

House of Students No. 1: 1st year students of the Higher School of Pedagogy (OP: “Physical education and sports”, “Health-improving physical culture”, “Initial military training”, “Music education”, “Pedagogy and psychology”, “Pedagogy and methodology of primary education”, “Preschool education and upbringing”, “Defectology”, “Psychology”, “Social pedagogy and self-knowledge”) and students of 2-4 courses of the Higher School of Pedagogy (OP: “Physical culture and sports”, “Health-improving physical culture”, “Initial military training”, “Music education”), are settled in the House of students No. 1, at the address: Mendeleev St., 7.

Students’ House No. 3: Students of 1-4 courses of the Higher School of Humanities (OP: “Kazakh language and literature”, “Kazakh language and literature in schools with non-Kazakh language of instruction”, “Russian language and literature”, “International Relations”, “History”, “Political Science”, “Foreign language: two foreign languages”, “Translation”, “Journalism”, “History-Geography”, “Religious studies – philosophy”) are settled in the House of students No. 3 at the address: ul. 30 Guards Division, 42;

House of Students No. 4: Students of 1-4 courses of the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences (OP “Computer Mechatronics”, “Mathematics-Physics”, “Life safety and environmental protection”, “Mathematics”, “Computer Science”, “Information Systems”, “Physics”, “Nuclear Physics”, “Materials Science and the technology of new materials”, “Technology of processing industries”, “Forest resources”, “Vocational training”) are settled in the House of students No. 4 at the address: 30 Guards Division street, 40;

House of Students No. 5: Students of Higher College, students of 1-4 courses of the Higher School of Business and Law (OP “Economics”, “Management”, “State and Local Administration”, “Accounting and Audit”, “State Audit”, “Finance”, “Jurisprudence”, “Tourism”,), students 1-4 courses of the Higher School of IT and Natural Sciences (OP: “Biology”, “Chemistry”, “Chemical Forensics”, “Ecology”, “Geography”, “Scientific Biology”, “Earth Science”) are settled in the House of students No. 5 at the address: 30 Guards Division, 38;

3. Necessary documents for settlement:

application addressed to the rector with visas: Dean of the Higher School and Vice-rector for Educational Work in the form according to Appendix 1;
a copy of the identity document;
photos 3*4 (3 pcs.);
additional documents are provided if available:
a copy of the death certificate of both or the only parent, or a certificate from the orphanage (if available);
a copy of the certificate of the status of candace (if available);
certificate of the presence of 4 or more children in the family (for large families);
certificate of disability (if available).

4. The settlement algorithm:

Application and online registration of students;
The Commission for the settlement and issuance of warrants, approved by the Rector of the University, works at the Parasat PSC at 30 Guards Division 38-40 from 09.00 to 18.00h. daily (lunch from 13.00 to 14.00), including Saturday and Sunday.
After receiving a warrant from the commission, the student must undergo a medical examination at the health center at the address: 30 Guards Division Street, 36 (academic building No. 3, 1st floor), and check in with the commandant at the Students’ House.
5. Payment for accommodation in Students’ Homes in the 2022-2023 academic year is 10,000 tenge per month for a bed for students.

If there are available beds, students from the same family studying at different faculties will be settled in one House of students and in one room if there are documents confirming kinship relations (according to the Housing Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the accommodation of children of different sexes who have reached the age of 14 should be separate).

Parents and relatives do not have the right to live in students’ homes.
