ANTI-CORRUPTION EDUCATION: HOW THE HOUR OF INTEGRITY WAS ORGANIZED
A single nationwide action “Hour of Integrity” was held at the S. Amanzholov EKU. Denis Shakenov, Head of the Anti-Corruption Service of the East Kazakhstan Region, and Mukhtar Tolegen, Rector of the university, met with students of the Jurisprudence program to explain the anti-corruption model of behavior.
The event began with the presentation of the sculptural composition “Taza kol”. The object is presented on the basis of the university in 2021 as a symbol of integrity and honesty. Mr. Shakenov noted the clearly done work of EKU management in promoting anti-corruption ideology among the young generation. In addition, he stated about job opportunities in the Anti-Corruption Service for graduates of Amanzholov University.
– It is not so difficult. Candidates need to pass the civil service test, pass an interview, collect a package of documents and study at the “Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan”. After that you are guaranteed a job. I personally invite everyone to take part in the next competition. All information is available on the official website https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/anticorruption-vko?lang=ru. Salaries even for beginners are very good, – said Denis Shakenov.
Arkhat Beisembayev, Head of the Department of Prevention of the Anti-Corruption Service of the East Kazakhstan Region, also made a speech to the trainees. According to him, the priority task in their activities is the education of patriotism and complete non-acceptance of corruption.
At the end of the meeting there was a solemn reception of students into the ranks of members of the student club “SANALY URPAQ”. Ten young men and girls received the coveted insignia from the hands of Denis Shakenov, Head of the Anti-Corruption Service of the East-Kazakhstan region.
It should be noted that the alma mater pursues an active anti-corruption policy. Thus, in addition to the SANALY URPAQ club, the University hosts the School of Integrity and the Summer School of Integrity and Leadership, with more than 100 students.
