II FORUM OF RECTORS OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS OF CENTRAL ASIA WAS HELD IN DUSHANBE

Within the framework of the Fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States, the II Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Central Asia was held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Ministers of Education of Central Asian countries and rectors of higher education institutions of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan took part in the event. East Kazakhstan University named after S. Amanzholov represented. S. Amanzholov was represented by Irina Rovnyakova, Vice-Rector for SR&NR.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the development of cooperation in science and education. Also a number of partnership agreements were signed between the universities of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. From now on the alma mater will cooperate with the Tajik International University of Foreign Languages named after Sotim Ulugzoda, Denau Institute of Entrepreneurship and Pedagogy and Tajik Agrarian University named after Shirinshokh Shotemuram.
