Young athletes of Amanzholov University met with Kazakh professional boxer Aidos Yerbosynuly. The Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan performs in the middle and second middle weight categories. He is the champion of the WBA International, WBO Global, WBC Asian Continental and WBC Asian versions, the owner of the Genghis Khan Gold Belt in the 2nd middleweight.

Students of the educational program “Physical Culture and Sports”, masters of sports and candidates for masters of sports had the opportunity to personally ask questions to their idol. During the live dialogue, Aidos Yerbosynuly shared the secrets of a successful career, the nuances of a sports diet, a negative attitude to doping and the costs of the profession. According to the boxer, the most important thing in a sports career is to find a decent and interested promoter, train regularly and spend any free time usefully. For example, Aidos himself likes hiking in nature because of the accompanying cardio load.

During the meeting, the students also asked about the boxer’s most recent fight, which took place on November 5, 2022. Let’s remind, then the Kazakhstani competed against the Cuban David Morrell for the title of the regular world champion according to the WBA version. The fight ended with a knockout for Yerbosynuly, after which the Kazakh athlete did not enter the ring anymore. To date, the champion is preparing to return to professional sports and is trying his hand at writing. Not so long ago, Aidos Yerbosynuly presented the first author’s book “Zhagyn synsa da, sagyn synbasyn”.

At the end of the conversation, the boxer noted the need to get a high-quality higher education and learn English. According to him, it is necessary to rid society of stereotypes about the illiteracy of athletes.
