ANTI-CORRUPTION VOLUNTEERING PROJECT IN ACTION!
Within the framework of realization of the project “Anti-corruption volunteering” students of the university held meetings with students of East Kazakhstan Technical University named after D. Serikbayev, Kazakhstan-American Free University, East Kazakhstan Music School named after Abdullin brothers, Ust-Kamenogorsk Higher Polytechnic College, Ust-Kamenogorsk College of Service Sphere, Abay Humanitarian College.
A separate cycle of meetings was held with young representatives of public associations and labor collectives. Thus, with the support of NGO “Center for Independent Initiatives” meetings with the youth wing “Zhastar rukhy” of “AMANAT” party and young people from the Assemblies of the people of Kazakhstan EKR were organized.
During the meetings volunteers under the guidance of associate professor of the Department of Jurisprudence Gulmira Bayrkenova informed about the main directions and intermediate results of anti-corruption policy of Kazakhstan for 2022-2026, revealed measures to combat corruption, anti-corruption culture, anti-corruption consciousness. They drew attention to the need for active participation in combating corruption in society, as well as explained the ways and procedures for reporting corruption.
According to Gulmira Bayrkenova, the volunteers covered more than 500 people with anti-corruption education activities.
