THE DELEGATION OF THE UNIVERSITY RETURNED FROM ST. PETERSBURG

October 30 began the academic internship of the university students in the Russian State Pedagogical University named after A.I. Herzen in the city of St. Petersburg. During the 10-day stay in the Russian Federation, the delegation of six people successfully presented the author’s reports at the international scientific-practical conference “Language and Literature Education in Modern Society”. The scientific works concerned the realization of dialog technologies in the process of teaching schoolchildren literary reading.

In addition, Associate Professor Natalia Benesch and students of the specialty “Pedagogy and Methodology of Elementary Education” were given a tour in the Palace of Count Kirill Razumovsky, the University Museum, the fundamental library and technopark with specialized technological practice.

During the following days the representatives of WKU got acquainted with the author’s method of development of coherent written speech of junior schoolchildren by Galina Shchegoleva Galina, Associate Professor of the Department of Language and Literary Education of the Child at the Institute of Childhood of Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University, made a virtual tour of St. Petersburg under the guidance of Svetlana Antonovna Belorussova and attended literacy lessons at the school-gymnasium No. 56.
