Psychology Olympiad for 11th grade students

We invite 11th-grade students to participate in the Psychology Olympiad organized by the Department of Psychology and Correctional Pedagogy at EKU named after S. Amanzholov in December 2023.

Olympiad’s Goal: To promote professional self-determination, creative self-realization, enhance psychological culture, and elevate the prestige of practical psychology services in the education system.

Content and Organization of the Olympiad.

  1. The Olympiad takes place from December 4 to 15, 2023, in Ust-Kamenogorsk at the Higher School of Pedagogy NPLC EKU named after S. Amanzholov (formerly EKSU).

The Olympiad consists of 2 rounds (online and offline) and involves individual competition.

The online round involves written tasks. Answers are accepted until December 8, 2023.

The second round (offline) invites participants recognized as winners and finalists of the online round. The second round takes place on December 15, 2023, at 30th Guards Division 34, main building of EKU.

  1. Application submission and registration for the Olympiad are conducted by the Organizing Committee from November 20 to December 1, 2023.
  2. Applications are accepted in electronic form, provided in Appendix 1 at the address: Kaf_psy@bk.ru.

  1. After receiving and registering applications, the organizing committee sends the tasks for the first (online) round to participants.
  2. Completed tasks for the online round must be sent to the email address Kaf_psy@bk.ru by December 8, 2023.
  3. The final and award ceremony for winners will be held on December 15, 2023.
  4. There is no participation fee.

The participant who receives the grand prize is eligible for a university grant for the first year of study if admitted to the Higher School of Pedagogy.

Winners of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places receive diplomas, while other participants receive certificates. Educational psychologists who prepared students for the Olympiad will be awarded certificates.
