THE AKIM OF THE CITY MET WITH STUDENTS OF EKU

Zhaksylyk Omar, akim of Ust-Kamenogorsk city, visited EKU named after S. Amanzholov. The reason for the working visit was an informational meeting with students of educational program “State and Local Government”. During the conversation the head of the city made a report on the theme: “Advantages of public service”.
In the list of the main prerogatives: stability, opportunities for career growth, internship in foreign organizations, employment under the program “With a diploma – in the village” and the provision of housing under a special housing program.

-It is not an easy but worthy job that requires maximum responsibility. Persons entering the civil service must have citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan, be at least 18 years old and have the necessary education. In addition, they are obliged to submit to the tax authorities information on income and property, – explained Zhaksylyk Omar.

At the end of the meeting the students had an opportunity to personally ask the Akim a question.

-What do you do in your free time? – asked student Nazgul Makeeva.

In response, the guest of the alma mater said that he is partial to soccer and walks with his family.

It should be noted that there are a lot of educated, open to self-development young people in the ranks of civil servants. And the tasks of the university include professional training and recruitment of the most talented young people.
