Regional Olympiad on the discipline “History of Kazakhstan” among the 1st year students of educational institutions of TiPO system of East Kazakhstan region was held at the Higher College.
Center for Vocational Education of East Kazakhstan region together with Higher College of NAO “East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov” on December 07, 2023 held a regional Olympiad in the discipline of “History of Kazakhstan” among the students of the 1st year of educational institutions of TiPO system of East Kazakhstan region.
The purpose of the Olympiad was to develop interest in studying the history of Kazakhstan, humanitarian disciplines, to identify gifted students, to develop knowledge of history and local lore, to increase pride for the Motherland.
The Olympiad was held in 2 rounds, 25 students took part in it. The first round was held in the form of testing, according to the results of which 13 students passed to the second round. In the second round students defended presentation works on such topics as “The historical image of the Great Steppe”, “The historical path of the national intelligentsia”, “Historical and cultural heritage of the region”, “The history of the social and legal structure of the Kazakhs”.
According to the results of two stages the following prize-winning places were determined:
І place – Saparkhanova Erkem Symbatkyzy (Higher College of Higher Education named after Sarsen Amanzholov);
ІІ place – Aynabek Dias Aynabekuly (Higher College of the Kazakh-American Free University), Sergali Tolgaanai Symbatkyzy (Higher College of Higher Education named after Sarsen Amanzholov);
ІІІІ place – Troeglazova Anna Petrovna (Higher College of Kazakhstan-American Free University); Sabzhanov Zhangir Amangeldiuly (Higher IT-college of East Kazakhstan Technical University named after D.Serikbayev) Serikbol Aulet Maratuly (Higher IT-college of East Kazakhstan Technical University named after D.Serikbayev).
