TURKISH LANGUAGE ROOM OPENED AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

With the support of the Turkish Embassy in Amanzholov University, the opening ceremony of the Turkish language room took place. The room is equipped with modern computer technology and is furnished with educational, methodological and artistic literature. From now on teachers and students can work with original materials on linguistics, history, art and country studies of Turkey in comfortable conditions. Seminars and conferences will be held here, as well as scientific research on the language, culture and history of Turkey.

It should be reminded that VCU closely cooperates with the universities of the brotherly country. In particular, with Uskudar University, Firat University, University of Medical Sciences of Turkey, Marmara University, Istanbul University, Akdeniz Üniversitesi, Pamukkale University, Akdeniz Üniversitesi and others. In addition, for the third year volunteers from Turkey Sadullah Duman and Gül Banu Duman have been teaching at the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies of EKU. Thanks to the new platform, foreign teachers will open new opportunities in teaching and popularization of Turkish language among students.

It should be noted that at the moment 15 students of Amanzholov University are successfully studying in Turkish partner universities within the framework of the academic mobility program “Orhun”.
