“AMANZHOLOV READINGS-2023”
Today in the S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University held the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Amanzholov Readings-2023”, dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Sarsen Amanzholov. The theme of the large-scale event was “Transformation of education and science – a key factor in improving the quality of human capital”. The main speakers were Mukhtar Tolegen, Chairman of the Board – Rector of Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. The head of the university recalled the life history and path of the great Turkicologist Sarsen Amanzholov, as well as shared the current successes of the namesake university. Honorable guests of the large-scale event Chairman of the Board of Directors, Professor of Kokshetau Abai Myrzakhmetov University Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov, veteran of Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.Satpayev (Almaty), son of Sarsen Amanzholov Ural Amanzholov and Nazigul Iskanova, director of Sarsen Amanzholov Secondary School made a congratulatory speech.
During the conference, the staff and faculty members were awarded with letters of appreciation, and talented students who participated in the startup project competition received monetary certificates from the hands of the head of the university.
The event was continued by the plenary reports of Zofia Siraka, external employee of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Sarbasov Bolatkhan, Professor of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature, Faculty of Philology, Kazakh National University named after S.Amanzholov (Almaty) and Aigul Alimkhan, Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh, Russian Philology and Journalism, NPLC “EKU named after S.Amanzholov”.
