STUDENT OF THE UNIVERSITY BECAME A FINALIST OF THE REPUBLICAN DEBATE TOURNAMENT

Zhiger Sarsenbayev, a student of S. Amanzholov VCU, won the second place at the Republican Debate Tournament. The large-scale intellectual game attracted 64 participants from seven regions of the country.
According to Zhiger, the players were divided into small teams. Botagoz Sagymbekova, a student of the State Medical University of Semey, became his partner.

During the intense two days, the young debaters spoke on topics of world and state politics and economics. In addition, the issues related to one of the sponsors – “KAZZINC” LLP were raised.

-The republican tournament was held at the highest level. We communicated with the guys, had a fun and informative time. In general, I have been practicing debates for three years, so I feel confident enough in this arena,” said a student of the university.

As a result of debates Zhiger Sarsenbayev and Botagoz Sagymbekova won the honorable second place, as well as a cash certificate worth 50,000 tenge.
Note, the organizers of the event were the debate club “Yerkin sөz”.
