TEACHERS FROM 30 SCHOOLS OF EKR WILL COMPETE FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP AT THE CUP OF THE RECTOR OF THE S. AMANZHOLOV EKU
Amanzholov University hosted the opening ceremony of the volleyball tournament among teachers of schools of the region for the cup of the Rector of East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov.
Representatives of 28 schools of the city and region take part in competitions. These are teams from Glubokovsky, Katon-Karagai and Ulan districts, as well as teams of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of chemical and biological direction, Lyceum “Bilim-Innovation” for gifted children, and other schools of East Kazakhstan University.
As noted by the rector of the university Mukhtar Tөlegen, all of them, despite the busy schedule, found time to implement this large-scale sporting event.
– I cordially welcome you to our university, – he addressed the participants of the competition and guests. – I heartily thank all the schools that responded to the invitation to participate in the tournament. I also welcome the winners of the volleyball tournament, which our university organized for 11th grade students of the city schools. These are school No. 46 – winners and owners of a certificate for 200,000 tenge and school No. 20 – third place winners with a certificate for 100,000 tenge.
Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov, Chairman of the Board of Directors, addressed the athletes and fans with a welcoming speech.
– Let the awards find the strongest and most worthy, – he wished. – More sports emotions and bright victories for everyone.
Mukhtar Әdilbekuly also emphasized that the participants of this tournament have a lot in common. This is not only joint work in the field of education, science and education of youth, but also one common goal – the formation of a healthy generation.
– I hope that today’s sports tournament will become our common sports tradition. I wish good luck to each athlete. Let your efforts return to you the support of fans, sports excitement and a second breath. Let luck accompany you. And let the awards find the most worthy, – concluded the rector of the university in his speech.
After the opening ceremony of the tournament the preliminary games started. They will be held both at the university and in the sports halls of schools of the regional center.
