EKU CAREER CENTER AND UST-KAMENOGORSK CAREER CENTER DISCUSSED YOUTH SUPPORT PROGRAMS

In recent years, young people have become more interested in professional development and search for prospective employment. In light of this trend, the Career Center “Professional Upgrading” of S. Amanzholov EKU and the Career Center of Ust-Kamenogorsk city held a meeting to discuss key issues related to youth support programs: “Youth Practice” and “Generation Contract”.

The meeting was a unique opportunity for the staff of both centers to exchange experience and ideas to improve the effectiveness of these programs.

One of the main issues of discussion was the Youth Internship program, which gives graduates the opportunity to gain initial work experience in various fields of activity. Participants discussed ways to expand this program to reach more students and offer them more diverse development opportunities.

In addition, attention was paid to the Generation Contract program, which aims to support youth with the subsequent replacement of an incumbent worker who has reached retirement age. Participants discussed ways to jointly implement these programs in order to maximize the use of the centers’ resources and expertise.

At the end of the meeting, concrete plans for further cooperation between S. Amanzholov EKU Career Center and Ust-Kamenogorsk Career Center were developed. Both parties expressed their readiness for close cooperation and joint efforts to support young people in their professional and personal development.
