AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY HOSTED A REPUBLICAN CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BORDER DEPARTMENT OF ZAYSAN DISTRICT
The Republican scientific-practical conference was held in S. Amanzholov EKU, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Border Guard Department in Zaisan district.
In the work of the conference, under the title “Eastern borders of Kazakhstan: theory and practice of border security” was attended by the leadership of the EKU, faculty, students, management, officers and veterans of the PS KNB RK, deputies, representatives of public organizations.
As noted in his welcoming speech rector of the university Mukhtar Tөlegen, Zaisan Border Guard Department turns 100 years old, but we know that the protection of the borders of our homeland has a history of more than one century.
– I congratulate you on this wonderful anniversary, – he addressed the officers. – I wish you courage, bravery and perseverance. Today we are sure that the border and security of our country is in safe hands.
Head of the Department of PS KNB RK on EKR Serik Rakhimov in his speech emphasized that the 100th anniversary of the Border Guard Service of Zaisan district is a historical event in which the names of heroes are written in golden letters.
Veteran of the Border Guard Service, retired colonel Abay Brekeshev told about how the Zaisan border guard detachment was formed during the years of Independence, noting that the formation and all service and combat activities of the Border Guard Service of the National Security Committee is organically connected with the formation of sovereign Kazakhstan.
With plenary reports were made by representatives of the Border Academy of KNB RK, teachers of the university, deputies. Within the limits of conference ceremony of rewarding from PS KNB RK took place. Diplomas and memorable gifts were awarded to the rector, vice-rector and teachers of the university, guests. In turn, the officers were awarded on behalf of the rector of the university.
In conclusion, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the S. Amanzholov EKU and the Department of PS KNB RK on the East Kazakhstan region and adopted a resolution on cooperation.
