MEASLES PREVENTION IN THE PALATE

S. Amanzholov EКU is actively working to prevent measles. Thus, brochures with visual information about symptoms, prevention and treatment of the disease are distributed in student houses and academic buildings. Svetlana Maltseva, a medical officer of the university, organizes informational meetings with students and faculty members. In addition, a complete disinfection treatment was carried out in the educational building No. 1.

According to Svetlana Vasilyevna, 484 young people living in dormitories have been vaccinated against measles to date.

Note that the highest level of measles spread is observed in Kazakhstan. In 2023, 13,677 cases were registered, 11,300 of them among children under the age of 14. 70 percent of them were not vaccinated against measles.
