GRANT DEVELOPMENT ISSUES DISCUSSED AT AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

JSC “Financial Center” MNiVO RK held an informational and explanatory meeting with graduates of bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral studies of the university in 2024.

Within the framework of the dialog platform specialist of JSC “Financial Center” Akzira Serikkali told students the key aspects of working off educational grants and employment.

According to her, graduates of pedagogical/medical specialties, doctoral students and those studying under the rural quota at pedagogical, medical, veterinary, agricultural universities should work off grants for three years. The period of service is calculated from the date of conclusion of the employment contract.

At the same time, the university provides active support in employment. In particular, the Career Center of S. Amanzholov EKU, which keeps records of each student-grantee and forms personal referrals to vacant jobs.

-It should be noted separately that the period of service for trainees under the “Serpin” program is two years. The regions for employment are Akmola, Karaganda, Abay, Ulytau, Kostanay, Pavlodar, NKR and EKR, – added Akzira Serikkali.

It should be noted that there is a list of conditions under which it is possible to be exempted from working off the grant. Among them are pregnancy, presence of children under three years old, disability of I or II groups, enrollment in master’s, residency or doctoral studies on a grant basis.
