THE DAY OF NATIONAL SPORTS WAS CELEBRATED IN EKU

Teachers and students of EKU named after S. Amanzholov. S. Amanzholov celebrated «Ұлттық спорт күні».

The event was organized by representatives of the Higher School of Pedagogy. They offered an extensive sports program on national sports.

Within the framework of the festive event there were exciting competitions in arkan tartys, togyzkumalak, kettlebell lifting and arm wrestling. There were also demonstrated demonstrations on kazaksha kures.

The purpose of the event is to popularize national sports and promote a healthy lifestyle.

– On March 20, festive competitions are held throughout the country as part of the day of national sports,” said EKU Professor Emeritus Rizabek Sarmuldinov. – As you can see, today we also have a lot of participants and guests, we feel the festive atmosphere. Competitions are held in an open format, everyone can take part. I wish everyone good health, do sports, ak mol bolsyn!

Guests of the holiday were able not only to watch traditional games, but also to take master classes in some of these sports.

Students of the Department of Psychology and Correctional Pedagogy prepared and held a fair of national jewelry, which they made with their own hands.

At the end, the winners and participants of the competitions were awarded certificates of honor and memorable prizes.
