A PREVENTIVE TALK ON GYNECOLOGY WAS HELD AT THE EKU STUDENT HOUSE

A preventive event on the topic “Preservation of reproductive health, prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs)” was held in the EKU Student House. Ayauzhan Ospanova, an obstetrician-gynecologist, gave a talk to female students living in dormitories No. 3, 4 and 5.

She noted that reproductive health is one of the most important components of human health and society as a whole. According to the definition of the World Health Organization, reproductive health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, not just the absence of disease in all areas relating to the reproductive system, its functions and processes.

According to the doctor, currently the number of pathogens causing STIs number more than 30. They are very dangerous and have a negative impact on the human body.

– In women of reproductive age, sexually transmitted diseases can cause various sexual disorders, which can lead to the most undesirable consequences, – emphasized Ayauzhan Ospanova. – Therefore, it is necessary to treat this problem seriously and responsibly.

According to the students, the conversation turned out to be constructive, useful and very informative for them. They asked questions to the speaker, to which they received comprehensive answers.
