EKU STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN BARNAUL

Altai State University held a round table for young scientists “The role of virgin lands in the development of Altai Krai RF and north-eastern regions of Kazakhstan: history and modernity” with the participation of EKU students. S. Amanzholov.

The round table began with the words of greeting of the rector of Altai State University Sergey Bocharov. Then five students of the History program of Amanzholov university made their reports. They emphasized the important role of the historical experience of the development of virgin lands and their influence on the modern development of the regions. As a result of the round table it was planned to publish an electronic collection of materials.

According to Timur Dyusenov, a second-year student of the History program at EKU, participation in such a historical conference was a special highlight of their trip. It was interesting for them to listen to fascinating reports, discuss historical issues and exchange opinions with scientists and historians.

– At the conference, I gave a presentation on “Social aspects of virgin land development in Kazakhstan: migration, community formation and cultural change,” he shared. – My research and analysis attracted the attention of the audience and aroused interest in discussing this important topic.

As Amangeldy Zeriankhanov, a third-year EKU student, noted, the conference was very systematic and productive.

As part of their visit, excursions to historical places of Barnaul city were held.
