MEETING OF STUDENTS WITH THE HEAD OF ADGS DEPARTMENT ON EKU
Nurlan Yerkebayev, Head of the Department of the RK Agency for Public Service (DADGS) for EKR, held a meeting with students of EKU S. Amanzholov. The event, as part of career guidance work of the university was informational and explanatory in nature and was aimed at promoting employment of university graduates in the civil service. The meeting was also attended by Serik Zhenisov, Head of the Regional Department of Public Development.
Head of DADGS on EKU noted that public service is available for all citizens of our country and is an excellent start for further career building. At the same time, in accordance with the law “On Public Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan” occupation of administrative public office, except for certain cases, is carried out on a competitive basis.
– Attracting initiative, creative youth is one of our priority tasks, – Nurlan Yerkebayev drew attention. – After all, the Head of State Kasym-Jomart Tokayev in his speech at the forum of the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve, indicated that educated, truly patriotic citizens, capable of critical thinking, should take an active part in government.
The meeting was held in a lively format, with a large number of questions to the speaker. Students were interested in the order of admission to the civil service, asked about the “School of young civil servant”, “Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve” and other youth projects of the RK Agency for Public Service.
Nurlan Erkebaev tried to answer them in detail, emphasizing that their wishes and opinions are very important for them.
As noted by the head of the Career Center “Professional Upgrading” Zhannel Bolatova, career guidance work, including the attraction of graduates to the civil service, in S. Amanzholov VCU is carried out on a regular basis.
