CLEAN KAZAKHSTAN” ECO-ACTION IS GAINING MOMENTUM IN EKU

The university held another subbotnik – so employees and students massively support the action “Clean Kazakhstan” spread throughout the country. Recall, the people’s event was initiated by the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev.

Every Saturday for two weeks the staff of EKU and its students clean up not only the territory of the alma mater, but also the adjacent areas. They use rakes, brooms, shovels, rags, soapy water and gloves. Each academic building and Student Houses “meet” the warm season in a new “appearance”.

– I am here for the purpose of beautification of my favorite university. Right now I’m working on weeds, we’re beautifying it,” said student Temirlan Serikov.

– Such events foster respect for labor in young people. I notice how friendly and enthusiastic our guys get involved in the work. This can not but please, – shared Senor-lecturer of the Department of Pedagogical Education and Management Gulmira Makshieva.

“Clean Kazakhstan” has become a real trend on the Internet. Many participants of the eco-action shoot photos and videos, where they proudly demonstrate their activity. Representatives of ECU also did not stay aside. On the official pages of the Higher School in the social network Instagram you can see how teachers and students enterprisingly support the development of environmental culture in the country.
