REPRESENTATIVES OF SHAKHMARDAN YESSENOV FOUNDATION VISITED EKU

Irina Grishchenko, Operations Director of Shakhmardan Yessenov Foundation, and Aigerim Sultan, Project Manager of the Foundation, paid a study visit to S. Amanzholov EKU.

The first half of the visit program was devoted to acquaintance with the main academic building of the university. The guests visited the center of continuous and inclusive education “Dana bala”, the library of the university. In the reading room of the scientific library they familiarized themselves with the collection of rare books.

Then there was a meeting with the university administration, deans of Higher Schools, heads of structural divisions, young scientists. Within the framework of the meeting the representatives of Esenov Foundation were presented detailed information about Amanzholov University by Zhanneta Kalimoldina, vice-rector for educational and social work.

According to Irina Grishchenko, the Shakhmardan Yessenov Foundation was established in 2013. It follows the world’s best traditions of patronage of arts and aims to help the most talented young Kazakhstani students and scientists to receive quality and competitive education and advanced training.

The Foundation bears the name of Shakhmardan Yesenov, Kazakh theoretical and practical scientist, geologist, science organizer, public and statesman of Kazakhstan. Continuing his work, the Foundation has defined its mission as the development of intellectual potential of Kazakhstan.

– We know well that in EKU S. Amanzholov there are many young scientists, researchers, who are not only participants, but also winners of programs of the Fund, – said Irina Grishchenko. – They worthily represent science at a high level. Among them there are those who are actively engaged in popularization of science in the Kazakh language.
