THE ECOLOGICAL ACTION “CLEAN KAZAKHSTAN” CONTINUES IN EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY

Within the framework of the republican ecological action “Clean Kazakhstan”, the staff and students of the university carried out regular activities on sanitary cleaning of the university territories.

Last weekend, in addition to cleaning and landscaping on the territory of the main academic building were planted seedlings of coniferous and other species of trees.

The Chairman of the Board – Rector of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University Mukhtar Tolegen took part in tree planting.

He noted that the university actively participates in the action “Clean Kazakhstan” initiated by the Head of the state Kasym-Jomart Tokayev.

-During a month we carry out large-scale actions on cleaning and improvement of territories not only of educational buildings and hostels of university, but also the city as a whole, – Mukhtar Tolegen emphasised. – I would like to say that the purpose of the action “Clean Kazakhstan” is directed not only on providing cleanliness and order, but also on education of ecological culture, correct and careful attitude to the nature, achievement of cleanliness of the environment in the young generation.

In this regard, according to the head of the university, by the decision of the Academic Council of East Kazakhstan University, a special teaching manual “Clean Kazakhstan” will be published. Moreover, it is planned to introduce such discipline in all educational institutions.

It should be noted that the large-scale eco-action continues. The next week will be held under the motto “Onegeli urpak”.
