EKU MASTER’S STUDENT REVIVES SOAP PRODUCTION ACCORDING TO ANCESTRAL METHOD

Master’s student – chemist Zhandos Sagdollin is working on the implementation of a project on the production of natural eco soap, which has a unique antibacterial property.
The scientific program is the manufacture of natural soap based on annual herbaceous plant, for example, Alabota (Swan), using traditional Kazakh technology. The peculiarity of this method of making soap is that it consists of environmentally friendly components without the use of any chemicals. Essential oils from flowers will be used as flavoring agents.

– As for the composition of soap, it consists of components of annual plant and fat of animal origin, – explained Zhandos Sagdollin. – During the study of this soap it was determined that Cu and Zn have antibacterial properties. That is, have a favorable effect on human skin.

Currently, a lot of research is being conducted on natural eco soap. After positive research results, the project will be submitted for commercialization.
