A TRAINING SEMINAR FOR UNIVERSITY TEACHERS WAS HELD

EKU S. Amanzholov hosted a training seminar on “Development of syllabuses within the framework of secondary education modernisation programme”. During two days the teaching staff actively participated in the seminar.

The first day of the training was devoted to the principles and content of the renewed pedagogical educational programmes, the second day – to the development of the syllabus.

The seminar was conducted by Svitlana Stelmakh, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology and Correctional Pedagogy, and Anastasia Kosyntseva, Senor Lecturer of the Department of Teacher Education and Management.

-Our main goal is to encourage teachers to learn new pedagogical knowledge and skills,” said the Senor Lecturer.

The participants also discussed the traditional programme of teacher education in the country.

-During the workshop we developed a new syllabus. The practical information was very useful,” said Senor Lecturer Nurash Igisinova of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social and Humanitarian Disciplines.
