BIG ALTAY THROUGH THE EYES OF STUDENTS OF AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY

From July 15 to 21, Amanzholov University students participate in the IV International Summer School of Young Scientists-Historians, Turkologists and Altaists, organized by AltSU and the State Budgetary Educational Institution “Big Altay”. The event is dedicated to the study of early medieval society of the Big Altay.

On the first day, the school participants familiarized themselves with the city of Barnaul and visited the Museum of Altay Archaeology.

-We saw with our own eyes archaeological artifacts belonging to Neanderthal and Denisov. We were interested in the corner dedicated to the Scythian-Saxon period, as well as the ancient Ertokum found at the Yalomansky second burial ground,” said student of alma mater Ultu Muratbekovna.

It should be noted that 10 students of Amanzholov University participate in the international event, and the curator of the group is a lecturer of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Humanities disciplines Yernaz Ermekov.
