RESULTS OF THE AMANZHOLOV UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL

For exactly one week students of Dorzhi Banzarov Buryat State University studied the culture, history, archeology and ethnography of East Kazakhstan.

As you know, Dorzhi Banzarov BSU is the leading multidisciplinary educational and scientific complex in the Republic of Buryatia, which realizes the unity of the educational process and scientific research. Thanks to the active cooperation between the universities there is a wonderful tradition of inviting each other to visit. So 12 students and two heads of BSU visited East Kazakhstan and Amanzholov University.

On the first day for the delegates there was a tour of the educational building № 1. The guests visited the Center for Continuous and Inclusive Education “Dana bala”, Coworking, Scientific Library and the Museum of Archaeology and Cultural Heritage of Altai. Also within the framework of the summer school there were lectures and mater-classes on the topics “Sacral objects of East Kazakhstan as a factor of development of national spiritual consciousness” and “Historical toponyms of East Kazakhstan”.

The second day for the guests from Buryatia was no less intense. They had a tour of the regional center, within the framework of which they visited the East Kazakhstan Regional Museum of History and Local Lore and the Left Bank Complex.

-It was an unforgettable experience. I especially remembered the trip to the “Sibiny” base of the Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. There we had a master class “Fabulous legend of Sibiny lakes” and listened with pleasure to a fascinating lecture on “Ablaikit. Fortified buddhistic monastery in East Kazakhstan”. At the end of the trip we were waited for games and relay races, – shared his impressions Arsen Zagirbekov, a master student of the Dorzhi Banzarov Buryat State University.

A vivid memory for international students was a trip to the Akbauyr tract. Here they were given lectures and master classes on the topic: “Stereotypes and intercultural communication” by Kaliyeva K., Candidate of Historical Sciences of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University.

-Thanks to the fact that our universities have become friends in the field of history education, we organized this school so that young people could practice their academic skills, – said Victoria Nomogoyeva, Vice-Rector of Dorzhi Banzarov Buryat State University.

The final event of the summer school was the ceremony of awarding certificates and memorable gifts. The BSU administration was presented with souvenirs in the national style, and students were given branded Amanzholov University products – modern shoppers and T-shirts with the university logo.
