EMPLOYMENT: LIFE AFTER UNIVERSITY
In the 2023-2024 academic year Amanzholov University graduated 2030 bachelor’s degree graduates, 751 – master’s degree graduates, 16 – doctoral degree graduates. Of these, more than 800 people were sent to work within the framework of working off the state educational grant at the expense of the republican and local budget.
The University on a constant basis conducts joint work with Education Department of East Kazakhstan region, city and district education departments, Career Center of Ust-Kamenogorsk city, Youth Resource Center of Ust-Kamenogorsk city and others. The result of work is revealing of demand of the region in personnel, drawing up and constant updating of bank of vacancies on the region and, as a consequence, individual work with students on their personal distribution on work. Thus, for several years the employment rate of the university graduates is 98%.
-This year’s graduates are successfully finding jobs, submitting documents for admission to graduate school, applying to the Career Center. Now more than 30 graduates of Amanzholov University are employed within the framework of the program “Youth Internship”, – said the specialist of the Career Center “Professional Upgrading” Araylym Raisova.
According to her, many students receive invitations for internships and further employment while studying. For example, the graduate of the specialty “Ecology” Arman Bakebaev works as an engineer in “Ecology-Service” LLP, the graduate of the specialty “Informatics” Kerim Abzalbekova is employed as a teacher of additional education in the municipal state enterprise “Station of young technicians”, graduate of the specialty “Psychology” Alexandra Okatenko is interning in the training and methodological department of the Department of training and staff development of “Kazzinc” LLP, graduate of the specialty “Preschool studying and education” Kseniya Kolodnitskaya in her last year was invited for internship as an educator in KSU “Valeological specialized school-complex for gifted children.
